Booking terms and conditions

CANCELATION POLICIES

STANDARD CANCELATION POLICY

  • OPO Hotel does not require full payment at the time of booking. Only the amount of the first night will be held as a guarantee.
  • If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 2 days before your date of arrival, to be reimbursed. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.).
  • Bookings that have not been cancelled 2 days before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night.
  • In case of a no-show, the total price of the booking will be charged.

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE CANCELATION POLICY

  • OPO Hotel request prepayment of the full amount from our guests at the time of your booking.
  • Once you have booked a non-refundable rate, your reservation is considered confirmed, consequently no changes or alterations are permitted.

Planning on booking nine (9) rooms or more? OPO Hotel has special discounted group rates. Just shoot us a mail at welcome@opohotel.be and we'll get back to you 48 hours.

 

EARLY CHECK-IN’s

  • Due to the nature of our business it is impossible to confirm you an early checkin until 24 hours before your expected arrival date. Early check-in's are granted upon hotel avaiability, please contact our Welcome Desk. 
    Note that, in case of hotel availability, Early check in from 7:00 am to 10:00 has an additional price of Eur 60,00. Early check in from 10:00 am to 13:00 has an additional price of Eur 30,00.
  • On the contrary we will be more than happy to secure your luggage so that you may go about and explore our faboulus neighbourhood Sainte-Catherine, until your room becomes available for check-in at 3pm.
  • If an early check-in is imperative to your trip may we suggest to book the night before to ensure your room's availability.
     

LATE CHECK-OUT’s

  • Out of respect for our fellow travels, and in order to service your room according to our standards, check-out is scheduled until 11:00am.
  • Upon availability and a prior notice a late check-out may be granted unitl maximum 12 noon, please contact our Welcome Desk accordingly.
  • Pending a 24h prior notice and according to the hotel’s availability, a late check-out from 12 noon till 4pm may be purchased for 60€, please contact our Welcome Desk. A late check out from 12 noon until 15:30 may be charged 40 euros, to keep the room after 15:30, the full amount of the room night must be paid.

 

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

  • A pre-authorisation of 50€ per room per night will be required upon check-in, for possible incidentals and/or damages. The pre-authorisation will be settled EXCLUSIVELY by credit card and released upon checkout
  • Please note that you may be asked to provide us with the credit card you've used to settle your reservation with. Credit cardholder must match guest name or provide authorization.
  • A proof of identity is requested upon check-in: EU identification card for EU citizens and passport for non-EU residents.
  • Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian

 

OPO HOTEL VISITORS’ POLICY

  • Day time visitors between 09h00 till 22h00 are allowed at OPO Hotel. For the safety and security of our fellow residents, all visitors are requested to present valid identification (ID card / passport) at the Welcome Desk attendant or Security agent on duty.
     
    A prior verbal consent will be requested from the primary room occupant to grant the visitor access within the hotel’s premises.

ROOM OCCUPANCY

  • Your stay is valid for the number of persons in accordance with your reservation details and the amount charged. Any clandestine occupant risks being expelled and a fine of 150€ will be imposed on the reservation holder or primary occupant. Any last-minute additional person, not included within your initial reservation will need to be registered at the Welcome Desk.

SUPPLEMENTS

  • EXTRA BED : Upon request, and a prior 24 hours notice and availability certain rooms may be fitted with one (1) extra bed pending a supplement of 40€ per day, please consult with our Welcome Desk.

NON SMOKING POLICY

  • Out of respect towards our fellow travellers and in order to ensure health and safety standards, OPO Hotel is committed in guaranteeing a smoke, fume, or vapour pollution-free environment. Free of pollutants originating from tobacco smoke, the use of electronic cigarette, vaping devices and or a water pipe. The cost of decontaminating your room from smoke, fume, or vapour pollution, can amount up to 225€ and may be charged to you.

PETS

  • For the convenience of other Guests, please be aware that pets are not permitted. 

THIRD PARTY IN-ROOM SERVICES

  • Your wellbeing is our concern. In order to maintain optimum security, health and safety, standards, third party in-room service providers such as but not limited to: massages, therapists, manicures, pedicures, hairdressers, etcetera are prohibited.

UPPER FLOOR REQUEST

  • All requests to allocate your room on a higher floor is subject to availability and room type.
