Booking terms and conditions
CANCELATION POLICIES
STANDARD CANCELATION POLICY
- OPO Hotel does require full payment at the time of booking.
- If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 2 days before your date of arrival, to be reimbursed. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.).
- Bookings that have not been cancelled 2 days before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night.
- In case of a no-show, the total price of the booking will be charged.
NON-REFUNDABLE RATE CANCELATION POLICY
- OPO Hotel request prepayment of the full amount from our guests at the time of your booking.
- Once you have booked a non-refundable rate, your reservation is considered confirmed, consequently no changes or alterations are permitted.

GROUP RATES
- Planning to book nine rooms or more? OPO Hotel offers special group rates for larger bookings.
- Simply send us an email at welcome@opohotel.be, and our team will get back to you within 48 hours.
EARLY CHECK-IN’s
- Because of how hotel operations work, we are unable to confirm early check-in more than 24 hours before your scheduled arrival. Early check-in depends on availability, so we kindly ask you to contact our Welcome Desk the day before or the morning of your arrival for the most accurate update.
- ✔️ Early check-in between 7:00 and 10:00 is available for 60 euros
- ✔️ Early check-in between 10:00 and 13:00 is available for 30 euros
- If your room is not ready yet, we will gladly store your luggage so you can enjoy the lively Sainte-Catherine neighbourhood while waiting for the standard 15:00 check-in time.
- If early access to your room is essential, we recommend reserving the night before to ensure immediate availability upon arrival.
LATE CHECK-OUT’s
- To respect fellow travellers and ensure rooms are serviced to our standards, check-out is scheduled by 11:00.
- ✔️ Late check-out until 12:00 may be granted upon availability and with prior notice. Please contact our Welcome Desk.
- ✔️ Late check-out between 12:00 and 14:30 is available for €40, with at least 24 hours’ notice and subject to availability.
- ✔️ If you wish to keep the room after 14:30, the full room rate for the night will apply.
- Feel free to contact our Welcome Desk for any late check-out requests.
CHECK-IN PROCEDURE
- A
pre-authorisation of €50 per room, per night is required upon check-in to cover any incidentals or potential damages.
This amount will be held on your credit card only and will be released upon check-out, depending on your bank’s processing time.
- ✔️ You may be asked to present the
credit card used for your reservation.
✔️ The cardholder's name must match the guest's name, or written authorisation must be provided. - ✔️ A valid
proof of identity is required at check-in:
• EU guests must present a national ID card
• Non-EU guests must present a valid passport - ✔️ Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to check in.
OPO HOTEL VISITORS’ POLICY
- Daytime visitors are welcome at OPO Hotel between 09:00 and 22:00.
- For the safety and privacy of all our guests, all visitors are required to present a valid form of identification (ID card or passport) to the Welcome Desk or security staff upon arrival.
- Access to the premises will only be granted with the verbal consent of the primary room occupant.
ROOM OCCUPANCY
- Your stay is valid for the number of guests as stated in your reservation and reflected in the amount charged. The maximum occupancy per room is either 2 or 3 guests, depending on the room type reserved.
- Please note that children aged 3 years and older are considered full occupants and count as one person in the total room occupancy.
- ✔️ Any additional guest not included in the original reservation must be registered at the Welcome Desk prior to accessing the room.
- ✔️ Unregistered or unauthorised guests may result in a penalty of €150 and possible removal from the property of the additional occupant.
- We thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all guests.
SUPPLEMENTS
- Extra beds and baby cots are available upon request, subject to availability and 24 hours’ notice.
- ✔️ An extra bed can be added to selected room types only, and may not be accommodated in all rooms. The supplement is €40 per night.
- ✔️ A baby cot is available for €12 per night and must also be reserved in advance.
- Please contact our Welcome Desk to check availability and suitability for your room type.
NON SMOKING POLICY
- Out of respect for fellow travellers and to uphold our health and safety standards, OPO Hotel maintains a strict no-smoking policy.
- This includes
all forms of smoke, fumes, and vapour, including:
✔️ Traditional tobacco products
✔️ Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices
✔️ Water pipes or similar devices
- To ensure a clean and healthy environment, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the hotel.
- Please note that if smoke, fume, or vapour contamination is detected in your room, a decontamination fee of up to €225 may be applied to your reservation.
PETS
- For the convenience of other Guests, please be aware that pets are not permitted.
THIRD PARTY IN-ROOM SERVICES
- Your wellbeing is our concern. In order to maintain optimum security, health and safety, standards, third party in-room service providers such as but not limited to: massages, therapists, manicures, pedicures, hairdressers, etcetera are prohibited.
ROOM REQUESTS
- We understand that guests may have preferences regarding their room location or features, such as:
- ✔️ A room on a higher floor
✔️ A room with a balcony
✔️ Street-facing or courtyard-facing rooms
- While we do our best to accommodate these preferences, all room requests are subject to availability and may depend on your room type.
- To increase the chance of fulfilling your request, we recommend contacting our Welcome Desk in advance.
Taxi and Transportation Services
- The hotel does not operate its own taxi or transportation service.
As a courtesy to our guests, our reception team can assist in contacting local, independent taxi companies upon request.
Please note that any transportation service arranged through the reception is provided by external third-party operators. The hotel assumes no responsibility or liability for the quality, punctuality, pricing, safety, or conduct of these external service providers.
All payments, disputes, or service issues must be settled directly between the guest and the transportation company.
Lost & Found
- General Items
All items found in the hotel will be stored for a period of 6 months. After this period, unclaimed items will either be disposed of or donated to charity at the hotel’s discretion. - Food and Beverages
Any food or drink items left behind by guests will be stored for 48 hours after checkout. If not collected within this period, the hotel reserves the right to dispose of these items. The hotel is not responsible for the quality, safety, or condition of any food or beverages left by guests.
